Wow! Here it is early December already. Am I the only one who thinks 2008 just flew by? I guess being in the air freight business anything that flies quickly is good; I just wish it was an urgent crate or pallet for someone, and not time! And speaking of time, with all the prior opportunity, any chance the holiday shopping would have already been done? I think we all know the answer to that… But that’s what it’s all about—last minute rushing around buying gifts, getting to holiday parties, but most importantly, always finding the time to spend with the thing that matters most—family.
What else happens in December? The L.A. Half-Marathon of course! Specifically, on the 7th (last Sunday) yours truly finished in 1 hour and 43 minutes—not too bad for a guy hovering somewhere in his mid-forties, right? Great course and great fun. Any takers to join me next year? I think now it’s time to settle in for some holiday food consumption training instead.
