ACTUAL E-MAIL RECEIVED FROM A CUSTOMER, DATED JANUARY 5, 2007:
"A week or so ago, we had a shipment that needed to get to Orlando in a hurry, Our customer was going on tour and needed to get his case no later than Friday at 5pm. He has willing go to pick it up at your agent’s location.
Melanie did everything in her power to make this happen. As sometimes happens, our freight got bumped and didn’t make it to the agent’s locations until 8:30 pm Friday night. Our customer was already on the road. I never knew anything was wrong until Melanie mentioned to me that there had been a problem with the shipment. Melanie had been dealing with my customer every single day to resolve the problem.
Ben still hasn’t picked up his case because we had to have it returned to California to catch with him on tour. But I have spoken with him several times and he has told me ( and the salesman ) how wonderfully he was treated by Melanie, and how hard she worked to make things happen for him, he was very impressed at how far she went to take care of him.
This is the kind of customer service we all would like to experience and yet so often don’t. Most of us wear may hats and have too much work to do . I can’t thank Melanie and your company enough for taking care of even the smallest of our customers with such care and dedication.
This service is what keeps your company a cut above the rest. " |

ACTUAL LETTER RECEIVED IN THE MAIL, DATED SEPTEMBER 2, 2006:
"I just wanted to commend Mao (Falamao) on a job well done.
The other day, I needed to get a package to Portland on a same day service. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure if PIM provided that type of service for a ten pound package. I had just gotten off the phone with ------ ( who provide us same-day courier service within the Bay Area ) and the had not yet received authorization from the FAA to provide that service. I noticed you subcontracted the service, but I cannot sweat those types of details ( I don’t care ) , what was important to me was that it only took one call to PIM and I knew I could relax after talking to Mao.
Mao assured me that you could get my package delivered and gave me all the details that I would need to provide to PIM. I told her that I would fax her the info within five minutes, in seven minutes she called me to find out where it was !!. The courier showed up within the hour and my package made a plane for Portland . The next day, I had a voice mail from Mao waiting for me, to give me a proof of delivery in Portland and pick up by my technician.
Working in a service business, and having a long history in customer service. I can recognize extra effort without it being pointed auto to me. It may be unfair to single out Mao for this particular incident. ( Everyone in your company treats me as if I were special-even though I am not ), but she literally saved my tail on this one, and I appreciate it.
It is for things like this, that I will continue to refer your company as an excellent provider of delivery services.
